Has anyone had good experience with any particular brand of rattle can paint that lasts under long term submersion? I heard somewhere those slow drying engine enamels might work. I'm looking to paint my trim cylinders.

Thanks,

get your self a can of self-etching primer to put on first and any kind of rust paint will work fine

You don't need a rattle can. You can use the preval system for less than 10 bucks. Then you can use any paint you want and add the hardener to it and get a very good durable paint job
