Hello,

Wondering if you guys know where I can get a new windshield for a 1987 WELLCRAFT 18' CENTER CONSOLE. It's smoked plexi with wrap around on the sides.

Thanks,

Bill

New not likely, used maybe in a boat salvage yard. Make yourself? Very Possible. Make a wood form, heat the plastic with heat lamps, and wrap around. Sand and flame the edges.

There are a few boat windshield manufacturers out there - google search "boat windshield manufacturers" and go from there.

Yeah, Based on the pics I've seen of that windshield it would be a fairly simple one to fabricate yourself. eBay sells the 1/4" smoked Plexiglass and then you can cut it to shape and then using a heat gun bend it to shape. There are YouTube videos that'll show you how to do it.

I have a 20' Wellcraft Center Console I just bought to restore.

They are easy to make. I'm thinking about replacing mine because it has a crack in it. I'd also like to make it taller and wrap around more. It is just acrylic that has been heated up and bent at an angle. Any plastics shop can make one for you.
