I have a lowe line aluminum flat bottom boat that is 19.5 ft long 48 in wide on bottom it has no data plate or numbers on it anywhere. Was wanting more info on it like how big of a motor I can install and maybe a year model or any help for that matter. Was told it was a 1962 model but don't know.

A pix of the boat might help ID it, as suggested in your other ID thread, calling Lowe w/ the serial # would be my 1st step.

Check the back of the transom - unless it is a pre-1972 boat, it should have a hull identification number. The last two digits are the year.

At 48" wide I think you may have a fat canoe.

Re: Lowe line what year and model?

Probably not a Lowe Line if it's a 1962:
Lowe Line History
or it may not be a 1962.

If I'm not mistaken, Crestliner & Lowe merged (?) or were bought by the same company, Brunswick, I think. Maybe it's a 1962 Crestliner. Odd length boats, 15, 17 & 19ft were typical for vintage Crestliners.

Either way, pix will still be helpful.

Mr88: I doubt it's a canoe (? ?), vintage tin boats were often long & fairly narrow for their length. A boat w/ a transom of 48" may have a max beam of 54-60"+/-, depends on how the boat hull is shaped.
