can anyone provide info about a process for removing paint from the hull using a process similar to sandblasting which uses ground up peanut shells. I am considering using this process and would like to know what cost to expect for a 28ft boat. thanks in advance.

Re: removing paint from bottom

I cant give any pricing. Here one of the most popular ways to remove bottom paint by blasting is Soda Blasting, they actually use baking soda. It is mildly abrasive and will not damage the gelcote. Never heard of of the peanut shell deal.
