paint window frames

restoring a 1973 starcraft 18 ft ss and would like to paint the window frames and possibly some other trim like rails and aluminum trim black. wondering if any of you have done so or ideas or suggestions . can i get it to stick and hold up.

Aluminum??? Good scuffing/sanding/prepping to desired level of finish***, light coating of Zinc Chromate Primer, good primer base, then topcoat with choice of color...
