I need to replace the holes in the splash well that drain water out. I think they are called transom drain tubes. I got some that are 1" in diameter and brass. They are curled (flared) on 1 end but how the heck do you curl the other end?? Do I need a special tool? Thanks

Re: Question on transom drain tubes

A flare tool is usually used for that nice bevel. How one would do that on a boat with it already inserted is beyond me. A ball-pein hammer is my only guess.
