Tomorrow I plan on using the gluvit on the rivets. Any one have any pointers?

Pull the foam back out and coat all the seams and the rivets. Just don't seal the ribs to the hull at the keel.

What seams are you talking about?

20150429_134755_zpspxuue7bt.jpg

To the right of of the pieces marked R-1, R-2 R..... There is a double line of rivets. There is an edge to the right of those rivets. That is the seam between the bottom panel and the side panel.

Gluvit seals seams like those and the seams around the transom. The some seams have a rubberish gasket that can wear down and leak. Gluvit seals the seams. That is what it is best at. Leaking rivets need to be re-bucked or replaced.

Oh yeah a resto blitz! Looking good :thumb:

Could you do me a favor? Please remove that rusted piece of pipe from the bow cover. It's really distracting from the awesome vinyl covered deck.

Yeap to each his own on the pieces or one run of vinyl. Unless you do one run and then need under the deck again for some reason then there may be some cussing going on.

Thanks guys! Did a lot more work today. Put vinyl on the other console, vinyl on the front metal piece that you will see in one of these pics, not done in the pic. Also working on putting the windshield in on the starboard side. And vinyl on the interior sides.

All I really have left is mounting the seats and some electrical work.
