I'm a first time poster and need your help. I have leaky rivets on the bottom of my 1993 Lowe deck boat where top side access is not a option. By reading some threads on this website the idea of using 1/4" closed end blind rivets would be great but my boats rivets have a 5/8" head. I can only find 1/4" closed end rivets with a 1/2" head in which I purchased. Placing the 5/8" head next to the 1/2" head shows that the 5/8" head looks almost twice as big. Its a big difference. Has anyone replaced a larger head rivet with a smaller head rivet or is there a alternative? Thank You
