Hi guys, I have a 14' Lund Fiberglass, the floor is soft in spots. It looks like it was re-done already some time ago. Fishin season is starting soon and I want to fixer up before the start. I'm looking for a little advice on replacing/repairing it. Should I rip the entire floor out or just put a new layer over top? I just need a basic fix to make this thing last another 2 years until I get a new one. Any ideas are much much appreciated. Thank you!!!

Welcome to iBoats!

Here's the thing, Boats rot from the bottom up and if the floor is soft, it's usually an indication of problems below. If the stringers are rotten and the transom too, then the boat could be unsafe to operate. You really need to investigate what's below to ensure that the boat is in good enuf shape for fishing season.
