My newest aquisition, actually my first ever boat has this narly corrosion...my guess is that it spelt some time in saltwater and there is no hint of any zinc anywhere except the outboard..also the previous owner has sprayed the keel with what im going to guess is herculiner or something of the sort and the inside of the boat along the seams have also been coated although with a grey colored liner...should i be worried about this? what are my options?

whiteish yellow powder coming undernearth the keel guard

Is that a trailered boat or is docked/slipped during boating season?

I dont know any background on the boat, the guy i bought it from only told me it had been out in the delta near Sacramento and saltwater... i plan to only use it for freshwater but it does look like the trailer it came on has seen it far share of useage...
