This weekend we finally had enough time with her and we took some pictures.
Genuine american is where is at:

This trailer is a launcher beast:

As we get more confident, I'm sure we'll leave it less submerged. I better be making a larger/longer keel stop so we gain some distance to the winch tower. Any thoughts?

This week I've to replace a failing bearing on the trailer and get the paint and polycarbonate for the windshield, so there won't be any news until at least next week.
Ah! and the de-greasing soap did make a good job at removing the dust on the flooring. It happens that I initially missed the trailer soap I told they use at work and cleaned with a regular dish-soap. But I must be careful as this soap eats aluminium. Some of it poured above the outer trim and it got a bit foggy on two spots.

In this last picture, apart from the whole engine, you can also appreciate the difference in darkness of the tank cover vs the lateral flooring. The tank cover was already cleaned with de-greaser before the ride.

We took speed measurements while cruising. At 3000rpm it travels at almost exactly 40kph = 24.85mph = 21.6kts
Do we have the right gears+propeller? What's her recommended cruise rpm? I find her powerful but expected lower rpms.
I installed a 4.3LX 205hp. paired with an alpha one gen1.

I have been following this post for a while. Just want to say what a great job you have been doing. I will in the spring going to be putting in a new floor and stringers in my boat. Great to see.

From Canada, Cheers
