Hey all, figured i'd post resto pics of my 17ft Peterborough Monza.
I'm already more than halfway through and figured i'd better start a thread before i finished lol.
A little background on the boat:
1989 Peterborough Monza I/O 3.0L Mercruiser/ Alpha one Gen1 Drive
Bought the boat for $3400cdn with 2 tow ropes, 1 ski rope, OBrien Professional Water skis, Seadoo Fly tube, all safety gear and 5 boat bumpers.
When i went to look at the boat(First boat purchase) i did not know what to look for a s far as rot goes and the boat looked dam near mint for an 89 with a near perfect interior.
Everything was functional on the boat except for the horn, wiper motor and one broken cupholder.
The trailer is original to the boat and is in awesome condition, the wiring needed some repair and all the side markers needed replacing but it did come with 2 new rims and tires.
I water tested the boat and the engine/drive ran like a top, all was good in my world until i started reading threads on older boats and what to look for, ugh!
Pics when purchased in august before i found the rot(i'm sure the seller knew about it and it is why he sold it, but whatever, buyer beware i guess).
Skeg has since been repaired
