What's the rating of my boat

I have a 19 ft southern skimmer flat bottom boat I need to find out the rating to figure out what size motor I can put on it

That sort of info along with the maximum load will be on the rating plate installed by the manufacturer.....it should have one rivetted or screwed somewhere inside unless a PO has removed it.

Lots of reading, but this might get you the info you are looking for if the Capacity plate is missing from the boat...

I have a 19' skimmer too. It's a 1996 hull. It's rated for an 100hp motor. I have an 85 2 stroke on mine.
