I would like to re-gelcoat Ivory colored non-skid decks using brushes and rollers. Some sand has come off leaving craters that fill with dirt that is very difficult to look clean.
A couple of questions:
1: Tinting: Can I take a sample of the color to a paint store and have it scanned for tinting instructions to use with polyester pigments? Thre is nobody local that does gelcoat scanning.
2: What type of rollers are recommended?
3: Coverage. I have about 100 sq ft to cover. How much gelcoat would I require? I don't think it would be practical to put two coats on as a couple of areas are too large to coat without kneeling on them./
Thanks
John
