how to clean a gas tank in a boat.
hi welcome to iboats.
its a real P.I.T.A.
not hard.....just time consuming.
there are many ways to do it.....one that is less work...is to remove the large fill hose so you can get a good sized siphon hose down there....just to the bottom of the tank.
get the bow up in the air.
siphon/pump out the gas.....try and siphon up the crud.
filter the gas....and add more in to the tank.
then take the boat for a drive around the block.....try and agitate the gas as much as possible.
then repete three times.
