Hi, I havn't made a post since I was putting new core in my deck of my 1973 Morgan 36t 1 ton. I havn't took any short cuts with restoring this boat. My plan is a Atlantic crossing in about 5 years. The is built solid glass rapped in gel coat all around. All the paint is original including the non skid deck. My winter work is boat repair and I am having a hard time finding the best solution to repainting my non skid deck. I don't like the sloppy look of interlux inter-deck. The shop I work at uses polycor gel. I'm not sure what kind of gel-coat I should use and what kind of non-skid to add? If the pic got added it's from about 10 years ago... not sure if it worked...

Re: non skid deck advice

hi morg.

if you just gellcoat it......you can add non skid right to the deck.

if you really want to get fancy.......you can get that green rubber mesh stuff and throw it in the gell after a few minits when it gets gooey,

just lightly and evenly roll it in with pressure.
