2" bubble rise after laying CSM with Poly.

Finshing deck in seat boxes and everything going quick. BUT I get this 2 inch bubble in middle after it cured. Hit it with a hammer and it is like steel, nothing. Battery tray might sit on it. So her you guys go, Will this make a big difference??

2" is a pretty big air bubble. Did you wet out, lay on the mat, saturate as needed, and roll out air pockets prior to it drying? If you are glassing over wood I would be concerned that that cavity will hold moisture and the wood will rot out faster.

If the rest of the glass job went fine I would just knock the bubble off with a flap wheel and re-lay that area.

Ayuh,.... It was probably Wet there, 'n it steamed up a bubble....

Grind it flush, 'n redo it...
