i think i will grind out the bubbles, fill them with mat and resin, then glass the splashwell back together before i pour the seacast. maybe i can get some done after work this week

Resizing your pics would sure make it easier on the eyes ... I have a hard time seeing them even with my reading glasses on .. :D

A free photobucket account is the easiest way to post pics .. click the img tag then paste them in your post .

Did you have enough to get to the top ?Kinda hard to tell from the pics .. You can order another gal and pour if you need . It does not make a cold joint ...
You sure there wasn't any holes in the bottom where it could have seeped into the bilge ?
Pretty easy process huh ..

well i grinded off the excess and i figured out why it took so much seacast my outer skin bulged out under and in above the 2x6 i used for bracing:blue: guess i should have put another 6 or 8 inches down:facepalm:. the place my motor bolts on is curved not flat. thinking a belt sander and some glasswork can fix it. so i will be sanding down the bump and building up the skin up top:rolleyes: guess i will be gelcoating the rear again. at least there is no flex:noidea:

i had just enough, well i went over the top about 1/4" had to grind some off, which took off the cap i tucked in. it didn't seep into the bilge, it bulged out on the outside where the motor mounts. not enough bracing.

In your P/B click on the pick you want to post ..It will show up kinda big . Over on the right you will see an IMG tag . Click on that and it will flash yellow copied ..
Then go back to your post right click and paste ..
