  • Pontoon Fence Panel Material????

    Hi All,
We just got our "new to us" pontoon, a 1995 MonArk (Yes, A Monark pontoon, weird huh ). Basically, the people before us put some kind of vinyl flashing on top of the dented aluminum paneling, but the did a horrendous job, and obviously used the wrong glue. We like the idea of putting a material on top of the actual aluminum, but we don't know what to use. I did find this: http://www.restorepontoon.com/pontoon/pc/Vinyl-Fence-Paneling-14p79.htm but how would you replace the paneling?

It's very difficult to help without pics. My signature below has a link on how to post your pics. Post em up, and I'm sure you'll get LOTS of ideas on how to restore your panels.

you remove the old paneling. then you roll out the new paneling against the frame and either rivet, or use self tapping sheet metal screws to attach to aluminum frame.
