What to use over Marine Tex hull repairs and worn gel coat spots?

I have 1979 Skeeter Wrangler I have been doing some repairs to. I recently filled a few chipped areas in the hull with Marine Tex. I also have a few small places on the hull where the gel coat is completely worn off.

What I am wondering is what can I use to cover these places? Is there a bottom paint I can use or should I use gel coat?
