Good God, NO. Get a quality 3M respirator and use it. Fiberglass dust is permanent damage to your lungs.

Those paper masks won't cut it.
The 3M respirators are great.

Re: Do i need a respirator?

From someone whose Grandfather is suffering from emphysema after building a few fiberglass dinghy's (and a bunch of woodworking) - spend the $30 and get a decent 3M respirator. Also, learn to use it correctly - ie, make sure it fits right, shave, and wear it beyond when you think it's OK to take it off.

The little dust masks filter out the big particles (which really aren't that harmfull) and let in the small particles (which are much more dangerous).
