Ok, need some opinioin.
Sunday while working on the boat, I had my father-in-law's assistance. He is a lic. Mechanic and had this idea when we were discussing the fuel fill hose and its cost.
His idea was to use aluminum tube, 1/8" thick wall, for the long straight sections and using new USCG rated hose for the fittings and bends.
Does anyone have experience with this or disapprove?
I would have a hose fitting at the fill spout and at the fitting on the tank, as well as a fitting for the bend at the floor, making a "L" shape.
Thanks for the input.
