I dont know if I am putting this in the right forum or not, but I know that most in here have done the grinding phase. I was wondering if anyone has a good recomendation for a good respirator when sanding and grinding. Thanks as always for your help.

I like my 3M 6000 series. About $30 from HD or lowes. Make sure you use the prefilters over the OV cartridge when grinding.

I do NOT like the pink one piece cartridges. Could smell the resin after a days work on one of those. The ones packaged as 6022 which use the 6001 set are much better, IMO.

Thank you. That is exactly the one I was just looking at, at HD. Thanks again.

I got my respirator at Lowes. I can't remember the brand at the moment but it meets the "P99" spec that's been discussed here

I would highly recommend that you buy a full face respirator. The 1/2 face respirators will protect from inhaled things, but that crap goes everywhere and the only way I have found that adequately prevents it is a full face respirator. You can get them for about $100 on line. Cheap insurance for your health.
