How do I remove the seat base without cutting the hull?

It appears to be fiberglassed down. Somehow it is probably going to be necessary to cut through the seat base and separate it from the deck.

There are no shortcuts here.

sawsall.....long blade.......put the blade against the deck. the blade will bend and you can cut it flush with the deck.......

to get at the back side (the side against the gunwhale) just cut the front piece of the base off.

done in seconds.
