Besotes or Belmont Boat

I have a chance to pick up either a Besotes of a Belmont boat.
Is there anyone who has heard of these boats and what do you guys think.
All information much appreciated and needed.

I dont know anything about Belmont other than they were made in fifties.
The Besotes Bros. (Besotes manufacturing made approximately 200(I've been told 212)) othese boats.
They were built in Stockton California.
I know that there only around fifty of these boats konw left to exist.
They have been featured in the Conquors d' Elegance boat show at Lake Tahoe CA/Nev.
Because they were built for individual owners, the motors they installed could be from any manufacturer.
I was hoping there was somone out there that now something about the Belmont
These are in the same style as the mohagony/teak/walnut style boats as the Chris Craft, Correct Craft, Century type boats

George and Charlie Besotes are my great uncles. I am curious to know if you wound up purchasing one of their beautifully hand crafted boats or the Belmont.y mom learned how to water ski for my uncles behind one of their boats. Just curious if you purchased one and how you like it.
