First post on iBoats, But here is my Tri Hull, Got it in Aug of last year, Great little boat so far, for 700$ couldnt go wrong! Want to give the paint some new life in the spring and would like to upgrade the interior in the future. Anyone know who/ What made Equinox boats? Only thing i know about it, dont know how long it is or anything, guessing around 15-16ft. 65hp Evinrude on her, cruises at a nice comfortable 29 knots.

So... are there any active Trihull community members still on here or have we moved somewhere else? Also... I'm interested in getting a n official Trihull club sticker and possibly finding boating enthusiasts/hobbists in Indiana. Thanks

We are around here somewhere. It's slow season, most people are out enjoying their boats. I post my pictures with Photobucket. You can have auto size your pics then put them on here.

Yeah, this season started out bad for me ( back injury ) so I haven't done any boating except one time with my neighbor on his boat locally. Started it up on muffs, that's been about it. That and I've been busy with my $400 find on CL...not a boat, but a Bonneville. It's going to replace my old tow vehicle since that died and went to North Dakota to be parted out. I still have plenty of stickers to send out...need to get one on the Bonneville once I get finished cleaning her up.

OK, there's 66 pages to this thread, and I'm sure one of the senior members has pointed this out already, but I'll do it anyway. If you go to the main boat building/restoration page. At the top is a sticky, title official business of the 3v club. Otherwise, I like the look of everyone's 3v, makes me kinda jealous, mine be original 1979 orange and way off white.

Hey fellas I'm interested in joining the 3v Club!

I bought a 1974 17' Chrysler Funster in the Spring. The engine was a 1976 70hp Evinrude and shorty after I bought it the engine started crapping out. It had water in cylinder 2 and a few other problems, so I decided to do what some of you might have done and restore it. I've just started the process and I'm excited to post pics, share the story and get advice from some of you.

Here are some photos of the floor being ripped out and the damage from a crappy floor installation by the previous owner. The only thing rock solid was the transom, which was rebuilt 2 years ago.

If anyone has any info, pics or advice on the Funster model please let me know. I can't find much outside a couple photos.

What do ya say, can I join?

hell all, just bout a 15 foot tri hull a couple days ago. Looking forward to this summer of fishing and pulling my boys around the lakes up here in Northern Cali. But most of all i'm looking forward to joining the ranks of the 3V club. I'll be able to show off a pic in a couple days.

Mod EDIT

But I was wondering where do you guys get the stickers?

All are Welcome Funster! Looks like a neat boat. Much better looking than some of the other party barges from the day. You have the opportunity to make it your boat now, with your own vision for layout, so don't think that you HAVE to stick to the original design. In regards to fixing it, there's plenty of info/threads here to sift though for ideas. That's how I got the courage and conviction to do my boat. Never did much fiberglass work, and not much of a carpenter, but a willingness to learn, a determination to never give up and a supporting wife who made sure I never cleaned my fiberglass laced clothes in with her laundry and that I had better set the machine to the extra rinse cycle! cuz if I itch even once, the boats outta here! LOL.

Feel free to sift though my links, I tried to be fairly thorough explaining what I did, even if I didn't get as many pictures as I would prefer ( It's hard to run a camera and fiberglass at the same time ).

This is the first auto email from iboats in a couple of years. It’s cool that it’s this thread. Not much going on here. Redfury, I have a tri hull club on Facebook. I would love it if you would join. Just search Tri Hull Club. You should find it.
