Whine Knot

Here I go again!!
Taking the plunge on another restoration project. This time it?s all about bringing one of the last real Chris Crafts back to life. Look at these pictures and give up some ideas. The boat was purchased at Shark River Marina NJ, and delivered to Scituate Harbor MA. The name will be changed from Single Tree II to Whine Knot. Don?t ask why? Ask why not (also Whine Knot). Now that is a big project, nice looking boat, always liked the old Cris Crafts.

Used to be built right by my house, I remember driving(being driven,I was young) by the factory and seeing these huge boats sitting there at the plant, pretty cool.

Good luck, I'm sure you have your work cut out for you.

Well we finally have our new project boat home safe. Here are some newer pics after we cleaned her up. I?m still waiting for suggestions from the peanut gallery. The first step will be to strip the bottom down to the gel coat and see what up down there. I?ll send more pics as they come!

wow..great project.

would look great to me with a red bootstrap, white hull and blue bottom..flying a big ol USA flag when resto'd...

That old girl would break my bank! lol
