screws threw bottom of fiberglass boat

done really dumb thing put new carpet & seats in boat .took boat out for first time and took water in hull.fine out i put like 3 screws out of bottom of boat.what is the easy way to fix?do i take screws out & then fill holes with something?do not want to have to take new carpet out.thanks for help ahead of time.

yes, patch with marine tex.

so i just take screws out & fill with marine tex,or do i have to sand around holes first?should i also flare holes out to make a little bigger.i can do this from bottom with out having to rip carpet out?

i would squeeze a big glob thur the hole, as a backer, and fill the hole at same it. from the outside.
