raising transom on jon boat?

Any body on here ever raise transom on jon boat ? Mine takes 15'' short shaft motor any Ideas or pics. would be great. thanks

i take it you're wanting to put a 20" motor on a 15" transom. they make jack plates that mount on the transom, and will accomodate the 20" motor. or you can shade tree it, take a 2x6 and 4 pieces of aluminum angle, one inside and one out side, each side oh the motor, thru bolt the angle thru the transom with the 2 x 6 on top, and thru bolt the 2x6/ don't go putting a big motor on it. but it does work, if you get hurt or lose the motor, i didn't tell you this, but i've done it before.
