I wanted a perfect "sportsmans boat" for skinny fresh water. My design constraints were lightweight, fun to drive, able to handle blood+guts+hooves (game and fish), and to be able to get up in shallows. I completely redid the transom and reinforced it with aluminum channel braketing to prevent flexing under power. I bedlined the floor for blood and to help keep the rivets sealed. I installed a swivel chair and a "shotgun deck" up front with anchor/dry storage below the deck. Ive yet to do the electrical system. I powered this boat with a 15 hp 82 evinrude pullstart, as it doesnt weigh much, and makes this boat fairly quick (definitely need to be good at handling a boat with it). I went with an american flag themed paint job because everyday should be independance day. Some decent pics from a test drive attached. Will be taking more. Its nothing amazing, but i thought id share. Its a work in progress. Drop a comment with what yall think or suggestions? Its my first build.
