Well this is my very first boat ever. I do like projects and this will have my work cut out for me. Floor is rotten ,stringers are dust, transome is rotten. However its not in that bad of shape(wife doesnt thinkso) . I have in my garage now and am pulling the top cap to fix the transome and to gut the hull. Been reading alot here and there and am looking forward to this adventure.

Today i cut out the old deck, left the stringers in for reference. I'll be pulling the stringers next weekend and hopefully the transom. I'm going to pull it from the inside so i don't have to cut the hull, going to cut the slashwell and pivot the transom. Its rotten and loose so i really don't see an issue gong this direction.

With that being said I have decided against pulling the top deck, for one the bumper rail will only fit if it's stapled,and i don't have an industrial staple gun. Just going to remove the old glue from the sides and was thinking using pl glue to make the rub rail adhere to the boat. Then i saw another thread where 5200? Was used. Not sure if the difference but more research being done

Well got the transom out in one piece, now i see the damage to the back of the hull, Now i have to make the rear where the engine goes stronger and straight, should i cut it out our enforce it
