Oh yeah that's going to be a great motor for your Lund. So are you going on late night raiding parties across the 49th to find all these boats?

We got the drivers side panels and door attached, the rear end caps were broken and one was missing so my son fabricated and welded new aluminum ones.

Hey nice bling I see going on there. :encouragement:

So you don't have the helm and nav seat base in yet or the holes in the decking for them what's the plan there?

We are using non removable pedestals for both driver and passenger seats, they don't require holes in the floor, and we put reinforcing aluminum plates under the floor below where the seat bases mount so the screws have something to grab to.

These are the type of bases we are going to use.

Looks like you have a little dent to deal with too.

Actually there are a few little dents to deal with, found out that body filler has a hard time adhering to aluminum so we pushed them out as much as possible then sand out the scratches , we've decided to paint the boat with a satin paint instead of high gloss,

Oh yeah I like that finish, looking super nice! So how the heck do you guys paint the bottom without having the hull in the turtle position?
