1981 Blue Fin Question?

Looking at a 1981 Blue Fin with a 1981 55hp Johnson. The title shows the hull is fiberglass but every Blue Fin of that year that I see is aluminum. Can you guys clarify this before I spend time going to look at it please?

Also, I just finished my first restoration project which I thoroughly enjoyed. Do you think the hull, motor and trailer with titles is worth $500-$700?

I think you could ask the owner whether it was glass or aluminum before you go there. Is it worth it....with that little information no one can say. But if it's glass expect it to cost a couple grand and several months to fix it enough for safe use on the water.

Boat was aluminum as I suspected. The title has incorrect information but the Boat ID/Vin match up. I will fix it when I apply for a new title. Needs a new floor and transom but other than that it's in great shape. On to boat project #2!
