I recently bought a 1980 Ensign Dory, which is a fiberglass, flat bottomed skiff with Amesbury Dory features. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to replace some stringers. (I haven't gotten the deck off yet, and I find it hard to tell what I'm looking at through my inspection camera, but the hogging in the keel seems to indicate something's wrong)
Would anyone know what the stringers on these boats were originally made off? bare wood? if so, what kind of wood?
Would anyone know where I could get the blueprints for this boat? I want to make sure I put in stringers compatible with the original design.
