Boat is +- ready to be splashed. Im waiting for the seats. They should be here around 17th so not much longer. Now I got time to splash my old timer and drive my wife for a picnic.
Carpets came today. They fitted well. Outdrive is ready. Tilt limit adjusted. I had some problems with the trim pump first. I had bad connection (oxidiced) on the + that goes to adjustment switch). I found it with voltage meter and tested solenoids too. Now it works well again! I put a gallon of fuel in, no leaks so far. Hoses are connected to engine. I painted the rear section with grey primer. Two coats of white and Im good to go. Seats and panels + 2 coats of antifouling to rear left!!!
I got bad news today. Seats wont be here as planned. Motor cover, backrest and so on were rotten too, so they also had more work than was planned earlier. Im waiting for new estimate but Im still hoping to get on the lake this summer (summer is short here though).
Today I installed the lube oil reservoir kit, pressure tested the outdrive and filled the system up. Prop has been installed too. I also tested that the starter motor works. All seems to be in order. Some detail work is for next winter but Im very satisfied at the moment! Rear section is painted now too and the speed sensor has been installed (took the pic before that).
