4th and last paint layer. Done and done. I must say Im impressed of the quality of that 2 part polygloss paint. The deck is pretty neat and definitely water proofed. I started to gelcoat the transom. Next top coat and then sanding. There will be some color difference but im hoping to see some blending in when sanding. Well its getting yellow in 2 years anyways so what Im worrying about :D

Ive done a lot small tasks on the transom shield, engine and some other detaling. Paint for the shield was a bit problematic because I couldnt get thase paints that people are using in US (rustoleum or 2 component tractor/implement paint). Luckily I found enamel paint that should do the work for me. Time will show how it turns out on the water.

I also managed to match the topcoat color to transom pretty well. Ill send some pics when Im sanding it.

I intalled new exhaust manifolds as well.

Tomorrow sanding, transom shield install and on Tuesday most likely engine installation.

Ive done all kind of boring things during past few days.

Battery tray is in
Trim pump and hoses are in
Cables starts to be in order
New trim senders attached
Painted trim pumps
New gas level sensor installed
Ordered carpets

Upcoming weekend Im trying to finish the technical stuff. So only thing that is left are the seats.

I still couldnt decide if I paint the bottom of the hull or not. I could do it next winter though. It feels just a bit wrong not to do it after all the work Ive done. It takes time that i dont have that much if I want to get on the lake this summer. Hmm.

New water pump inc. base in. Cables sorted out and trimmed.

Basically benches and other interior stuff in and the boat is ready to be splashed.
