Just picked up a 2005 Lund WD14DLX and the battery compartment fails to drain and there is always standing water in the battery tray and the surrounding area. I cannot locate any drain holes and cannot figure out how to remove the plastic battery tray to see if there is something plugged. I suspect the drain for this area is where the battery cables make their exit. Does anyone know how to remove the tray ... I don't want to force it and I don't want to remove the seats and flooring for something so basic.

No need to remove the seats/deck, of course. The battery box is most likely screwed in. Post pictures to help us see what you see. In general, most battery box have couple of screws in the bottom which will be visible when you remove the battery. Again without pictures, this is only a best guess that could be wrong.
