I've been fortunate to receive a 15' Grumman from my mother in law. This was purchased new by her aunt and uncle in the early 1960's, possibly from Sears since he worked for them. I've power washed the lichen and moss from it and the trailer it was on, both from sitting in the woods for years. Apparently there was a bracket on the left side in the back, possibly a boat motor mount. I'm looking for a photo and dimensions of what may have been there so I can have on fabricated. Literature, information, and period correct brochures, copies of course, would be awesome to show my mother in law.

Her aunt was her dad's sister. All have since passed and she wants this to stay in the family. This is a lightweight canoe at 58 pounds. Uncle Gordon was 6' and Aunt Phyllis was 4'10". He wanted a canoe light enough she could carry to portage. If anyone can help it is appreciated. If I have this in the wrong area, please feel free to move it. If anyone wants other pics, I will provide them.

Definately the remains of a motor bracket. Though possibly not original.
