Livewell questionp

I have an 86 cajun that i am getting ready to restore. Currently has three live wells.
I dont like them they are in rough shape and need to be replaced.

My question is it possible to build a livewell instead of the insert thingy.
If i frame it in and put several layers of glass on it and just drill the holes for the pump myself will it work? If any one has ever done this could you post some pictures.

Thats what i am thinking too. Fiberglass and epoxy will hold water and it will be cheaper to make that to buy one. Plus i can also make it to whatever size i want. Just need to make sure that i PB the corners so that fiberglass is easier to make water tight.
