im looking to remove the fuel tank to replace all rubber lines, the fill is on back of boat, lines go under motor forward of bilge, theres a ski box in the middle of the floor, im guessing they don't provision a floor cover/access, requiring carpet removal? please advise.

There should be a service access above the tank where the lines attach

Some boat manufacturers have an access panel in the floor to remove the tank. Most require cutting out the floor

my 1987 185F Reinell is the same way. No access to the tank, however I can reach the hoses and I have already replaced mine as they are just in front of the bilge area. On the other side of the bulk shield below the decking. If it is like mine, you can reach it from inside the bilge area. Hope this helps.
