Water in bilge

Quick question. Has anyone here had a problem with water collecting in the bilge area while boat is out of the water and covered. Pretty sure it probably just rain water but I can't seem to find out where it's coming from. Any suggestions outside of me having to sit inside the engine compartment investigating it? The boats a 1990 250 sundancer.

If there is water under the deck or in the foam it would seep into the bilge area. I know this because my under deck water tank was leaking and water would slowly weep into the bilge area and out the garboard plug hole during lay-up in a heated shop. Hopefully rain water is entering your boat.......

I've only really noticed it after it rains so I'm hoping that's where it coming from, I hope anyway...

mine leaks a little when it rains. i don't think my cover is 100% waterproof. it sat indoors all winter and not a drop anywhere. mines a 1986 sundancer 250
