did some more digging today.. i have a feeling this is going to be a complete restore. why isn't the entire transom fiberglassed? is that the way they build these things back in the day or do you think it has been replaced by someone else? i drilled a couple samples in the transom and the wood chips were dry but it scares me because the wood was a dark color like it looks thru the glass. knocking on it sounds pretty solid but I'm no expert. what do you guys think?
