some advice on repairing this

want some advice on repairing this ware mark on bottom of boat. its not deep i think it just wore off the gelcoat, its not soft. do i just sand and re gelcoat or should i add some fiberglass and then gelcoat...

It doesn't look like it needs any glass, at least to my eyes. Clean with acetone sand just to rough it up and either spray a coat of gelcoat or spread a coat of gel paste. Are you familiar with gelcoat and how to apply it, cure it, etc?

BTW, Any toilet bowl cleaner will get rid of the brown stains.

Yup, agree ^^^ Wash with Acetone with a scrub brush and mix up some Gelcoat thickened with some Cabosil then use a Bondo Spreader to smooth it into the crevices. Sand with 320,500, 800, 1000 grit and then buff and polish. She'll be as good as new!!!;)
