I recently bought a 1996 Chris Craft 26 Crowne. Im trying to replace the hull transom zinc. The new one I bought does not seat all the way against the hull (its just the way its designed). There is a 1/4 inch gap bet the zinc and hull (but the metals are in full contact). I tried to remove the nuts in the back (the ones that keep the zinc from seating against the hull) but they wont come out. Pls let me know if that's Ok or if i need to buy anoyher zinc with the correct size(design).
