Welcome aboard ! I have used seacast in 2 different boats ... It's great stuff IMHO but if your on a budget.. Replacing with wood will be your best option ...Seacast ain't cheap ... Peace of mind knowing it will never rot again is a good feeling with seacast ... But if you go with wood as long as you keep everything sealed up and stored properly and most importantly installed correctly it will last for very very long time ...
