New member here. I have a 2003 Tracker V 16 with a 2002 Mercury 50 hp outboard that I have been trying to bring back to life after sitting for at least 5 years. I am currently trying to replace the fuel lines from the fuel tank to the motor. While trying to remove the fitting that goes into the fuel withdrawal fitting, I snapped off the fitting. Now I find myself needing to remove the fuel withdrawal tube and the top fitting in order to replace the part I broke off. I'm assuming that due to its age and numerous trips to the coast, the fittings seem to have fused together. Does anyone have any suggestions (other than take it to a dealer since my budget is just under zero) as to how to take the fuel withdrawal tube and fitting out with cracking the gas tank?
