Hi folks, newbie here.
Hoping someone knows the answer here. Does anyone know how to remove the original gas tank from a marlin Jupiter? It's the original 29 gallon tank. Looks tight in the space...
Thanks for any help.

Hi, thanks for the replies. The gas tank is rusted and is leaking. At the moment an auxiliary is hooked up. Someone mentioned a bladder, but the tank is not in good condition and is the original skyline from 1972. It Runs Along front seating area but it's pretty long and nothing looks like it comes out to aid removal. The step up into the front looks as though it blocks it sliding out.

This is a picture from the Internet, the fuel tank runs from left to right in the picture, and ends after the center step up on the right. It's pretty tight with a couple inches either side but that step looks to be in the way and it's a complete piece of the fiberglass with no attachments. Sorry if the terms I'm using are wrong. 😁

No, was hoping to avoid cutting the floor or deck. Didn't know if anyone had managed to do it. All I've seen in posts is that they have a new tank but not how they did it...

Most likely they did it during restoration while the deck was removed. Are you planing any restoration in the near future or just the tank job?
