is my water pump ok?! 120 force

Finally had some time to get the boat out today.
Hooked O/B up to the water house with the muffs, ran the motor and noticed not much water flow through the exhaust snout. had good water pressure through the water hose and muffs were on snug.

It seemed to almost sputter water, but not a constant flow. Is that correct?
I haven't owned a boat in years and don't remember how it should be.

My 120 does about the same on muffs. I have a week but steady stream from pee hole when on the hose, but in the water its a strong stream. Put the boat in the water and see if it gets better.

I have a 1989 150 and it kinda sputters out and at higher rmps it has a more steady flow either on a hose and muff or in a bucket of water

Would it be a good idea to replace the impeller?
does anyone know if my motor has an overheat buzzer?
