Hard starting 1984 Chrysler force 85 HP.
I have a 1984 Chrysler force 85hp, it turns over for an unusually long period of time during cold starts
Before it starts but when it is warm it fires right up. Help!!!!!

Choke working?WD-40 in the piston as you cycle it.
Compression/spark test?

If you remove the cowl cover and then look at the choke solenoid you should be able to see if it is functioning properly. Check and make sure butterflies on carbs or closing! all the way and opening all the way. Pressing the key inward while starting activates the choke solenoid.

I replaced the choke solenoid but I didn't check to see if the butterflies are closing all the way.
