    Default force 9.9 hp how much gear case oil is require to fill?

    as the title suggests, its an early 90's force 9.9,
    do you fill the oil from the drain till it comes out of the vent?
    or is this the wrong way for this type of outboard?

    Yes fill from the bottom, forcing the air out the top, requires 5 ounces of lube.
